Analysis of cutting gas using for CT steel and INOX (Stainless steel)
In normal way, people use nitrogen gas to cut INOX and Oxygen gas is used for cutting carbon steel (CT steel). However, the fact is that nitrogen gas is a little more expensive than oxygen gas, which increases production costs if making use of it. Due to profit of company and demand of losing product price from customers, some producers use oxygen compressed gas to cut INOX. Using oxygen compressed gas, which has “pressure gas”, makes shearing rate be 5% faster than using pure nitrogen does (considered in same conditions of material and thickness). However, cutting by compressed gas creates an ugly yellow color on the surface of the cutting line, which will never happen if using pure nitrogen gas. (the difference between two methods is only the color, not the thinness). Therefore, basing on product requirement and aesthetics of product, customers can choose to use nitrogen gas or oxygen gas. About us, we strongly recommend you should use nitrogen cutting method to have perfect goods. For the beauty of product, We give our word for using nitrogen gas for cutting INOX, but keep the same price as Oxygen gas method.
